Oh my, this is going to be quite a busy week... Right now I need to go and try on my prom dress, tomorrow I have a 4-hour visit to the hairdresser (yikes, I´d better take a book) to see what we are going to do with my hair; on Thrusday I have my friend´s prom, on saturday I have my own prom, and then on Monday morning I am leaving for Mar Del Plata for a week. Add art classes and lots of pretty pictures to do, and you we a busy Starling week.

Argh... I had to wake up at 4 am today to take the 4:57am train to La Plata. Why, you ask? Easy: I had to enrole in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and that means getting there at 6am if you don´t want to wait for your turn until 5 o clock in the afternoon. I was lucky, I finished at 10am, and by 11 I was back at home. And now I can happily say that I am officially a university student, and I´ll be starting with my first year in English Language and Literature in February 2002. Aren´t you proud of me? Now, if you´ll excuse me, I´d better go to bed and get some sleep.

And I am back, with a revelation... I´ve finished High School.

Scary, huh? Well, at least for me it is... not scary, but more like weird... I guess it takes some time to get used to this. My prom is in exactly 11 days, but officially I have finished high school, seeing how I did well in all subjects (yes, even physical education! ;)

So, yesterday we had another of my school´s little traditions, and one that ended up being quite amusing: the student-teacher lunch. Basically, an informal meeting between teachers and last year students where we all chat, eat, and make fun of each other. We all had lunch together (hell, even smoke together... it was a bit of a surreal experience to see teachers and students - well, ok former students - smoking side by side), and then we organised a bit of a "ceremony" with awards given to the teachers... "Gossip loving teacher", "couple of the year", "worst dancer"... rather amusing really, plus, the teachers got their revenge doing exactly the same thing with us, although with a bit of a difference... they handed out the "awards" while dressed as witches and wizards, pointy hat and all (we almost have a heart attack when we saw that). So it was all very silly, but quite funny, although I must say I am horribly offended because I didn´t get the award for worse athlete of the year! ;)

So, today I had the very last Physical education class in my entire life... I am finishing high school, go me! Of course, chances are I´ll never play voleyball again and it makes me kind of sad... *snort* no, wait, actually it doesn´t... NO MORE VOLEYBALL FOR ME! YAY!

Now, if you´ll excuse me, I am going to do a happy dance right now, and after that, I am not going to move unless it´s necesary (as in "matter of life or death" necesary). At least for some months I´ll be a couch potato, and proud of it!

So, Ana did come, we went window shopping, and decided that fashion these days is a complete disaster... or maybe we just want to believe that because we have no more money left to spend on clothes ;)

Ah, so now, thanks to the lovely Priscilla I know how to do the comments... too bad that everytime I try to save the changes into the template either the computer freezes or the conexion dies. *sigh* Guess you´ll be seeing comments here tomorrow.

On another note, I am still downloading the Buffy Musical episode, Once More, With Feeling , and it´s fun! I already got to the part when they kidnap Dawn, and got to watch lots of great numbers: the Xander/Anya one was cool, and even though the Spike one wasn´t that amazing there´s this moment when he goes down on his knees and sings that he is "her willing slave" that more than makes up for it! Yet another day in the wonderful life of Starling... I still have no idea how to do the links for the comments (I should have paid more attention to my HTML class at school), and tomorrow I am supposed to talk to the woman who is making my dress for the prom and I was supposed to come up with this very cool design for it... but guess what? Yes, you got it! Artists block... at the worse possible time, as usual. *sigh* Only 24 hours to go, and still, nothing. And prom keeps getting closer and closer...

In the meantime, I am waiting for my friend Ana to come by and get me out of my misery (and out of the computer as well) but she just won´t come... argh. Must be the rain outside (did I mention we are going through a VERY nasty storm right now?).

Right now I am downloading the Buffy musical episode because I decided I just can´t wait any more, and, living in Argentina, you either learn to cope with the fact that you don´t get new episodes until march, or you get them from the internet. I choose plan B, thank you very much.
